A good question: https://twitter.com/agyeidesign/status/1486308373075214340?s=21
My initial responses:
In Procreate, the most helpful thing I’ve found is to approach drawing mostly like ink (paintbrush) and whiteout (eraser). Use solid brushes that aren’t pressure-sensitive, like a hard airbrush or a modified Nikko Rull.
Mostly use layers for separate words, not letters or parts of letters. Layers are good for versioning, not for moving components around or spacing – those are better done with the lasso and transforms.
Also test / look up:
- "Palm Support" level in iOS Settings > Procreate. I think this was important on a newer iPad? It's disabled on my older iPad.
