HELP !! Simple dual ISP failover ... Can anyone 'tweak / edit' an existing NAE Script for CX6200 / CX6300? #14

Hello,

Existing NAE Script 'connectivity_monitor' for ISP Failover solution won't load on CX6200/CX6300.

(Also ... the existing script will not even load on an CX83xx model so there seems to be a bug in the code)

Has anyone managed to replicate / re-write the 'connectivity_monitor' NAE script so it can run on an Aruba CX6200/CX6300 ?

The IP-SLA / NQA solution would be perfect but the NAE script 'connectivity_monitor' does load onto the CX6200 or CX6300 :(

Background:

<-- See diagram below -->

I have a school on 2 sites (Upper + Lower) each with their own Core switch and each with their own Smoothwall and their own ISP circuit. There is even dual 10Gb Fibre between each site so it was basically a single site but the ISP circuits are split so each site has its own ISP circuit.

Dual Core, dual Smoothwall, dual ISP and each would like to failover to the other if either ISP failed.

(Upper CX6300 and Lower is CX6200)

Using IP-SLA with Track'd default ip route would be ideal but .... as we all know .... you can't do IP route 'track' with Aruba CX and the CX6200 / CX6300 won't load up the NAE script 'connectivity_minotor'. !!

Ticket logged with Aurba support but basically RTM but I am pulling my hair out .... I'm sure its simple.

Any help / suggestions / words of comfort greatly appreciated :)

Cheers

Peter
