Great to have the dependency update merged into main. The other changes look like they will only affect the (already) broken bundle feature, so this should be fine.

This pull request pushes an intermediate state of the branch, focusing primarily on updating nearly all of the dependencies to their latest versions. These updates were more intricate than initially anticipated, and it is essential to timely integrate them into the main branch to ensure stability and compatibility.
Note
The primary goal of this branch is still to fix the bundles functionality. This issue is still under development and will be completed and merged in a future pull request.
