Is there any way to remove a label from all entries?

you can remove labels using the new update command. E.g.: hister update 'label:old' --label ''. hister update 'label:*' --label '' should work as well.

The default client timeout is 10 seconds. You can increase it by specifying --client-timeout, e.g. --client-timeout 300 or use 0 to disable timeout entirely.
