GC hooks for closing resources are not working #174
Description
It would appear the GC hooks are not working properly to close resources on the file system.
This likely needs to be reconsidered and redesigned. RamFileSystem is not too much of an issue for now but the TempFileSystem integrations will be a problem if resources do not get cleaned up.
