STATUS REPORT

Accomplishments

  • Interviewed one user
  • Created a persona
  • Implemented 3 out of 5 issues targeted for this week’s iteration
  • Developed burn-up chart

What we didn’t get done

  • We couldn’t get 2 issues done. We couldn’t implement the connection to the database. And this prevented us from implementing the signup for the app.

Where we are stuck

  • Connecting to a database using angularjs. We would need help with this.

Insights

  • Using angular is more difficult than we envisioned, especially with our connection to the database.
  • We realised the importance of continuous communication as a group. A group member undid the work we did last week.
  • We realised the importance of creating branches when working on different iterations.

Data is still hardcoded; assume this is the database problem. come and see me

comment on status report

On database; you can either build a simple database server in php or nodejs OR you canuse a pre-built rest service like parse ( see their rest docs ). Feel free to come see me on wedenseday to talk
