Releases: Ashura-Sheikh/Sheiko-obsidian-plugin
Release list
0.1.1
A small maintenance release after the plugin's first review in the Obsidian Community directory. No change to what Sheiko does to your notes.
What's new
- Settings search (Obsidian 1.13+). Sheiko's settings now show up in Obsidian's settings search: try typing "auto-roll" or "working hours". Older Obsidian versions still get the same settings screen as before (minimum version is still 1.4.4).
- Contributing guide. New CONTRIBUTING.md on reporting bugs, suggesting features and opening pull requests.
- Clearer README. It now explains why the directory lists "vault enumeration": Sheiko looks through your Markdown files to find TaskNotes tasks, but only edits task notes and the daily note.
Fixes
- Addressed 3 code warnings from the directory's automated review on the line that builds the daily note's file name. Same behaviour at runtime.
- Repository issues are now enabled, so you can report bugs on GitHub.
Unchanged
All of 0.1.0's behaviour and safe defaults stay the same: nothing happens without TaskNotes, nothing is written until you allow the vault, auto-roll is off by default, batch runs are capped, no network use, no telemetry. If you already use 0.1.0, your settings carry over.
Requirements: Obsidian 1.4.4 or newer, desktop only, TaskNotes installed and enabled (tested on 4.13.4). Full details in the README.

0.1.0
First public release of Sheiko Task Lifecycle, an Obsidian plugin that works alongside TaskNotes to track each task's lifecycle and roll unfinished tasks to the next day.
What's in 0.1.0
Task lifecycle
- Append-only
## Contextlog and## Status Historyin each task note - Closure fields (
completedDate, closedBy,timeToCloseMinutes) written only for closes Sheiko sees happen, never over a close written by hand or another tool - Time per status, split into working hours, overnight and weekend
- A
## Lifecycle Summarysection, written on close or on demand - Startup catch-up: changes made while Obsidian was closed are logged as "detected at startup", never given an invented time
Auto-stage and sign-off
- Starting a TaskNotes timer moves a task to your working status; ticking the last checkbox moves it to review (forward only)
- A sign-off prompt when a task enters review and at the end of each day. Closing is always your click.
Auto-roll
- At each day's end time, unfinished tasks scheduled for that day or earlier move to the next day.
duenever changes, so slippage stays visible. - A
## 🔁 Rolled Oversummary in that day's daily note, plus a note on each rolled task
Safe by default
- Does nothing unless TaskNotes is installed and enabled
- Writes nothing until you allow the current vault (Settings → Safety)
- Auto-roll is off by default; try Dry run first
- Batch runs are capped at 25 edited notes by default
- No network use, no telemetry
See the README for setup, the full list of what it writes, and settings.
Requirements
- Obsidian 1.4.4 or newer, desktop only
- TaskNotes installed and enabled (tested on 4.13.4)
Known limits
- Tested only against TaskNotes 4.13.4
- If a task's only recorded change is its close, the Lifecycle Summary's Time per status table has no rows
- Settings don't yet appear in Obsidian 1.13's settings search
- If you use TaskNotes Workflows' scheduled-date rollover, don't also switch on Sheiko's auto-roll, or tasks will move twice
Support
