I followed the instructions on how to migrate Miele to the letter and also tried all suggested remedial actions, but I still get this error when clicking "add" on the discovered Miele integration.

Have you managed to migrate?

I managed now, when trying for the umpteenth time. It worked with the browser in private mode, which I have only tried twice before.
