Scales canvas resolution based on devicePixelRatio and backingStorePixelRatio properties to support devices with high DPI displays (issue #61).

Tested on an iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Should also support the Retina MacBook Pro but I don't have one available to test on.

Awesome job on this BTW. Thanks so much. This was a life saver in an app I am building.

Anyone tried it on the iPhone 4S? Can't seem to get it to work on that or on the Retina MacBook.

I tested it on the iPhone 4 and 4S and it worked. By tested I mean I loaded up the examples page and verified that it looked and worked the same as the original, except in higher resolution. I still haven't been able to test it on the Retina MacBook Pro though.

Got it to work on my iPhone 4S, must have forgotten something :) Tested it on the Retina MacBook and it works here as well!
