Backspace and arrow keys not working on input fields

Steps to reproduce

• open styleguide
• go to "Layout classes"
• input something in the input
• use backspace or arrow keys -> not working

(tested on Atom v. 0.201.0 with --safe)

I'm testing atom-select-list and just encountered this. FYI a workaround is to highlight the selection using the shift + home/end keys and entering in new input.
