Whiteboard Shows Blank When Opening Chat Window with "Augment Code" Plugin in IDE 2024.3.5 (Ultimate Edition)

Description:

I'm using IDE 2024.3.5 (Ultimate Edition) and have installed the Augment Code plugin.

Issue:

When I open the chat window, the whiteboard section appears blank — no UI elements or content are displayed.

Environment:

IDE: 2024.3.5 (Ultimate Edition)
Plugin: Augment Code
OS: [Please specify your operating system]

Plugin Version: [If known]
Expected Behavior:

The whiteboard should render correctly and allow interaction when opening the chat window.

Actual Behavior:

Whiteboard area is completely blank.

This is the bug tracker for a VIM plugin, not the JetBrains IntelliJ plugin.

I know this isn’t the JetBrains bug tracker, but this issue happened to me and this was the only place I saw it mentioned. Here's the solution that worked for me in PyCharm:

Press ⇧ Ctrl A → type “Registry” → open Registry…
Search for ide.browser.jcef.out-of-process.enabled and clear the check‑mark → Close → restart.
