Bucket 1.0.1
Bucket 1.0.1 — stability + crash logging
A reliability hotfix in response to crash reports (#1).
- Crash logging — Bucket now writes a
crash.logto%LOCALAPPDATA%\Bucket\crash.log, so problems can be diagnosed and shared. - Crashes are now survivable — an unexpected UI error is logged and recovered from instead of silently closing the whole app.
- Hardened native callbacks — the global mouse hook (shake-to-summon) and the system-tray window procedure can no longer crash the process.
If you hit silent crashes on 1.0.0, please update. If anything still goes wrong, please share your crash.log on the issue tracker.
Install: download Bucket-Setup-1.0.1.exe below and run it (per-user, no admin). SmartScreen may warn on this unsigned app — More info → Run anyway.

The first public release of Bucket — a fast, portable staging shelf for moving files around Windows.
Collect files, folders, text, images and links from anywhere into a little always‑on‑top bucket, then copy, move, zip, or drag them out wherever you need. Adding items only stores references — nothing is copied, moved, or deleted until you choose an action.
