Superseded. This version is deprecated. Upgrade to Aura3D 4.7.11.

A documentation and site release. The published packages carry no runtime change from 4.3.5; their READMEs (the npm pages) and one source comment are updated.

  • The site and docs lead with what Aura3D ships (site, docs). The homepage hero is now "A lit 3D product in 10 lines of TypeScript", shown next to the matching three.js app (38 lines before orbit controls). Both scenes are in tools/bench-vs-threejs/tagline/ and were built and rendered on the remote runner against the stock create-aura3d product-viewer scaffold (evidence/vs-threejs/tagline-check/). The comparison page is now "Why Aura3D over three.js"; the README, the engine, create-aura3d and cli npm pages and the feature guides say what each gives you versus assembling it yourself. docs/comparisons/threejs-positioning.md holds the claim table and the evidence for each number; docs/comparisons/aura3d-capability-audit.md labels every capability shipped, partial or experimental.
  • Homepage code samples compile again (site). The SDK and typed-asset samples used orbitCamera, environment.studio and createAuraApp({ target, scene: [...] }), none of which exist. They are replaced by the verified hello-world and hero scenes.
  • check-deploy is described as the static check it is (site). The homepage said it loads a route and reports failed requests and console errors. It checks the build output against the asset manifest (missing hashed assets, unreferenced files in dist) and, with --release, the licence and quality gates.
  • References to releases that can no longer be installed are gone (site, docs, npm pages). The create-aura3d npm page no longer talks about 4.0.x, llms.txt no longer carries the 4.1.2 build warning, docs/project/migration.md no longer sends people to the retired @aura3d/three-compat package, docs/agents/api-surface.md no longer lists the live scatter helpers as deprecated, and the guides for 2.0, 4.0 and 4.1 moved to docs/archive/. Version stamps across docs/ are restamped or dropped.
  • The three "V2" game builds redirect to the current games (site). /apps/showcase-{roadster-rush,heatsink,teleoperator,top-tennis}-v2/ answer with a permanent redirect to the game they replaced and are out of the inventory, the sitemap and llms-full.txt. The live game count stays 25.
  • New social card and site checks (site). The card carries the new headline. marketing/scripts/check-site.mjs now fails on old release numbers, version-numbered build names, deprecated APIs in code samples and unbacked check-deploy claims, and tools/site/scan-live-site.mjs runs the same rules against the live site.
