Do I need Towny to use TownyElections?

Yes. It's an expansion for Towny so it won't make sense to work without it.

I found a bug. How can I report it properly?

You can use the Issues tab to report bugs and errors.

Why is TownyElections a premium plugin?

It has been a premium resource on SpigotMC for around two years and, despite being now 'free' if you compile it yourself, I will keep it like that so people can support the plugin if they want to.

Can I contribute?

Of course! You can find a brief explanation on the README file.

The console is spamming a "Error: Key whatever not found" message.

That is probably because a new version of the plugin uses a message not present in the language file. Just reload the plugin using /telect reload and go to the language.yml file to fill the empty messages. When you're done just do /telect reload again and the plugin will run fine.

Are elections in a democratic nation regular from time to time?

At the moment, elections only happen when a leader creates them, but different government types are being worked on so this can be automatic.
