Hey, I'm Auric 👋

AI Safety Researcher | Aspiring Industrial Engineer | Singapore

I like understanding how systems break. Whether that's an LLM accepting a false premise, a volunteer program burning out its best people, or a flight simulator sitting idle. I build things to measure it and fix it.

What I'm Working On

  • Sichuan Dialect Perception and Textual Absence - 40-song coded corpus shows Chengdu hip-hop's perceived dialect is near-absent from written lyrics. Chinese orthography can't encode pronunciation; the dialect lives in performance, not text.
  • Presupposed vs Asserted Falsehoods - proved that presupposition framing doubles false-premise acceptance in frontier LLMs (p < .001, 1,793 responses)
  • Jane Street Neural Net Solver - reassembled a shuffled 48-block residual network from a 10^122 search space to floating-point-zero error
  • Currently working through Operations Research & Discrete Optimization coursework
