FR: Filter views

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The labels you select control which torrents are shown. Right now, switching views requires manually clearing filters with a button and/or toggling the relevant checkboxes in the Status, Category, Tag, and Tracker lists. If you have many labels across filters, this process can become tedious — potentially requiring lots of clicks and scrolling if you want to change between different combinations quickly.

Describe the solution you'd like

I think this problem got solved pretty nicely in ruTorrent and would love to see something similar in Qui - allow to save and manage user-defined views. You click on a view and related labels are selected automatically.

filter profiles that can be saved/bookmarked and easily got to would be very welcome
i for one think the way stashapp does it should be taken as a template
they have a very detailed way to 'and/or' 'this/notthis' all sorts of different data typed filters and save them

Any chance this is coming up on the roadmap soon? It would be awesome to have quick access to user predefined filters.

No real ETA on this from my side at least. There's been a wild couple of months with subjectively bigger features on the table that I've dedicated my time to.

I'd be happy to accept pull requests, but I'll get to it eventually either way.👍
