Compare
One-page honest comparison across runtime/platform, providers, tools, REPL UX, safety, observability, multi-agent, and DX. Peer columns are anonymized on purpose — the point is gap coverage, not competitive ranking. Ends with a 'Known gaps' section cross-referencing open ROADMAP items, so anyone evaluating agent-code sees both the coverage and what we're still missing.

Summary
Closes roadmap item 1.10. New
docs/reference/compat-matrix.mdx— honest, single-page feature coverage for agent-code against three peer terminal coding agents.Sections:
Peer columns are anonymized on purpose — the goal is gap coverage, not competitive ranking. Keeps the doc from rotting into marketing copy.
Each row's ✅/➖ reflects agent-code's current state (v0.17.0 + open Wave 6 PRs already shipping). When a feature lands, update the row; when a peer ships something we don't have, list it as a gap.
