Hi everyone,
I’ve made a small open-source app called AmbiSun for rooted LG webOS TVs running HyperHDR.
The idea is simple: automatically enable or disable Ambilight depending on the actual daylight period at your location.
For example, here in Tallinn the summer days are very long, so Ambilight can stay off until it is actually getting dark outside. In winter it gets dark much earlier, so AmbiSun enables it earlier as well.
AmbiSun does not change LED brightness. It only controls whether Ambilight should be enabled or disabled.

Current version: 0.1.3
The app has been developed and tested on my rooted LG webOS TV, so feedback from other LG models and webOS versions would be very useful — especially source/app detection.
