Feature request: PING api

Would be nice to have such an api to allow users to manually send a PING to AWS IoT broker.

Thank you very much for your feedback to AWS IoT Device SDK for C++. I have created an internal tracker for this feature request. We will take that into consideration as we are planning our future releases.

Hi,

Any update on this.

Currently we want to build a deviceprogram using aws-iot-sdk-cpp which will be subscribe for shadow delta updates 24x7 ,

we are able to do this using aws-iot-sdk-c , there we are using aws_iot_mqtt_yield / aws_iot_shadow_yield to send pings (which will keep the connection alive) for every x number of seconds. How we can achieve this using CPP SDK.
