This is awesome! I didn't even know this was an option and I was dreading having to convert all our files to RST. I'll approve now but will wait for you to respond before merging in case you want to sign up for Hacktoberfest like James mentioned

1.7.0 looked horrible on pypi when I released it, thank you for fixing this!

There's free swag involved and they gave it a cool name, so why not? I'll go ahead and merge this in, thanks again!

1.8.0 still look ugly: https://pypi.org/project/aws-sam-translator/

Maybe there's a problem with the markdown syntax so that PyPI can't render it? :/
