Create a Server
You can create a Farming Experience server to play with your friends using BisectHosting. This helps and supports the making of the Farming Experience modpack.
Create Server with BisectHosting.
To create a Farming Experience server, you will first need to download the Farming Experience Server Pack from CurseForge:
- Go to the Farming Experience on CurseForge.
- Click on the
Filestab. - Click on the latest version of the modpack.
- Scroll down and click
Additional Files. - Click on
Farming Experience Server Pack. - Click on the
Downloadbutton, please note that clicking on theInstallbutton will not work. - Extract
serverpack.zipin a new folder. - Once extracted, move the files inside the
serverpackfolder to your new folder. After doing this you can safely deleteserverpack.zipandserverpack. - Go to the NeoForge website.
- On the
NeoForge installer fileschooseMinecraft Version: 1.21.1and chooseNeoForge Version: 21.1.209. - Click on

- You might have to port forward the port

server.propertiesfile. - Open
run.bat. - Two windows will open, if everything works as expected your server will be running.
- Go to What is My IP Address.
- You will see two addresses: IPv4 and IPv6, in most cases, the IPv4 address is used, copy that one and send it to your friends so they can join your server, make sure they are running the latest CurseForge version of Farming Experience.
It's possible to make a server if you and your friends are using the Modrinth version of Farming Experience, you can follow the same steps as mentioned above, but instead of downloading the Farming Experience Server Pack, you will need to copy the mods folder from your instance and paste it in your new folder.
- Open Modrinth.
- Click on your
Farming Experienceinstance. - You will see three dots at the right, click and select
Open folder. - A window will open displaying the contents of the instance.
- Copy the
modsfolder into your new folder. - You might need to remove the following mods in order to make the server run:
fast-ip-ping-vX.X.X-mc.1.21.1-neoforge.jar,entity_model_features_1.21-neoforge-X.X.X.jar,entity_texture_features_1.21-neoforge-X.X.X.jar, andlambdynamiclights-X.X.X-neo-0+1.21.1.jar. - If you have any issues or need help creating your server, please send your inquiry on the Discord community of Farming Experience.
Make sure you’re downloading the correct NeoForge version, as using a different one might cause crashes when running your server. You can check what NeoForge version Farming Experience is currently using on CurseForge by clicking on the instance. For Modrinth users, you’ll need to unlock your instance to see this information, although this is not recommended as you will stop receiving automatic updates. If you unlocked your instance by mistake, please make a clean installation of Farming Experience again as mentioned here.
