Aurora v0.1.0 — first public release 🌅

Native macOS ambient lighting for Skydimo-compatible USB-serial LED strips, with one-click mode switching from the menu bar.

Modes

• 🌅 Circadian — f.lux-style color temperature by your local sun cycle (Auto/Day/Night override, 24h schedule + time scrubber, gamma-corrected warm tones)
• 🖥️ Screen Sync — ScreenCaptureKit edge-light · Full / Cinema / Top / Bottom / Left / Right + saturation
• 🎵 Music Sync — system-audio vDSP FFT · Spectrum / Pulse / Level / Mood + sensitivity & beat detection
• 🎨 Scene — custom color + 12 presets

Plus a menu-bar switcher, installation-direction setup, launch-at-login, and a live preview.

Install

1. Download Aurora-v0.1.0-macos.zip, unzip, move Aurora.app to /Applications.
2. First launch: right-click → Open (ad-hoc signed, so Gatekeeper asks once).
3. For Screen / Music sync, grant Screen Recording in System Settings → Privacy & Security (Music Sync uses it for system audio), then quit and reopen.

Requires macOS 14+ and a Skydimo-compatible controller. Confirmed on SK0127 (65 LEDs).

The build is ad-hoc signed (not notarized) — a notarized build is on the roadmap.
