This is functions that I use over and over again in other projects that it thought to be Generall. There are functions for sorting, finding common prefixes, suffixes and so on. This is not cleaned up and contains lots of duplications plus functions that probably are not usefull anymore.
Also it contains lots of DNA and RNA specific functions that I have created over the years. Maybe they should go to another repository.
