PhoneCast VR v0.9.0 adds clearer connection feedback, stable retry messages, LAN headset discovery, About/version information, and privacy-safe log exports to Downloads on both devices. It also fixes idle phone locking while casting when Modify system settings access is granted and clarifies that controller hotkeys require closing the dashboard. Update both the Android app and Steam Frame receiver for the new features.

Important limitations

• Some GPU/decoder freezes and device-loss failures remain under investigation.
• Sleep/wake, SteamVR restart, and broader game compatibility need more testing.
• Windows support works but is secondary to the headset-native release.
