How to install and use new icon theme?

I have downloaded the https://www.pling.com/p/1440037 icon theme but can't seem to use it (I have extracted it and used the Win10Sur-black-dark variant).

I have tried putting it both at /usr/share/icons/ and ~/.icons/ but I can't seem to set it in the theme icons.theme file.

The only icon pack that works is Yaru-olive. I can't even set any of the other Yaru packs as the icons.

Win10Sur-black-dark

what happens when you add Win10ur-back-dark to this file:

.config/omarchy/themes/<your_theme>/icons.theme

That should pick up once you reload hyprland

I've already done that. My icons.theme file is:

Win10Sur-black-dark

as I mentioned above.

I've restarted hyprland like ten times already, it doesn't change.

when I change to one of the default theme the icons do change to whatever that theme is

Please share the full path to where you have your Icons.theme file at.

The icon theme I downloaded was incomplete. After downloading the full set and restarting (not relaunching), I go the desired icon pack set.
