GPU Passthrough on Windows VM

Is this something desired by users? I'd be interested in making a pull request as I have a primitive prototype that I'd be willing to enhance.

Yes, this would very much be a desired feature for me. Doing so manually is not too straightforward, so any help Omarchy could provide would be great

It would be great if the Windows VM had a GPU passthrough option, but automating this will likely be tricky, considering the variety of hardware configurations such as:
AMD/NVIDIA,
desktop/Optimus laptop,
single or dual GPU setups,
and so on.

Will do @dhh ! However, my solution requires that the windows VM is run natively instead of in docker, and uses an external script to automatically install the vm/perform the passthrough. Would this still be acceptable to PR?

I think it's worth looking at that if we get GPU pass-through! Please do explore it.

Hi @LabGuy94, this will finally let me install Omarchy on bare metal. I use lots of Autodesk and Adobe apps for ArchiViz production. If this is still in the works this will be the clincher. I'm looking to find a balance btw Linux and Win ArchiViz apps for faster production, having the best of both worlds open simultaneously would be extremely awesome. Cheers
