Apps disappear after moving them to another desktop using SUPER + mouse

What's wrong?

I used to move apps between desktops using SUPER + mouse, but now when the app is moving to another desktop, it closes abruptly and I have to reopen it.

This happens for me in chromium based apps and also electron apps, it's a bug in Wayland and Short answer: it’s not Hyperland itself crashing — most of the time it’s a Wayland-unaware / XWayland bug + how Hyperland handles drag-move across monitors. sometimes it should be fixed by force them to use --ozone-platform=wayland . for chromkum and web apps --ozone-platform=wayland --enable-features=WaylandWindowDecorations --enable-wayland-ime and electron

1. Force native Wayland for Chromium/Electron

Create or edit:

~/.config/environment.d/90-electron.conf

with:

GTK_USE_PORTAL=1
GDK_BACKEND=wayland
XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland
ELECTRON_OZONE_PLATFORM_HINT=auto```
