Screensaver launch command fails on Omarchy `3.2.0`

Omarchy 3.2.0

What's wrong?

This release introduced the random_effect argument to tte. This argument seem to be introduced in tte version 0.13, but version shipped with Omarchy from AUR is still 0.12.2-1, causing omarchy-launch-screensaver to fail.

Solved manually by running uv tool install -U terminaltexteffects, but probably best solved by upgrading AUR package.

(Maybe make sure code using new versions is not released until dependent versions..?)

Update > Omarchy (0.3.2) does update tte to 0.13.0.

Maybe the update did not work for you? Are you getting any errors for omarchy-refresh-pacman and sudo pacman -Syu --noconfirm?

Oh, don't know why mine didn't update, but it did now.

I had the same issue after updating to latest:
TerminalTextEffects 0.12.1

after running the commands:
omarchy-refresh-pacman
sudo pacman -Syu --noconfirm

screensaver works again:
TerminalTextEffects 0.13.0
