One Year Bible Read-Through App

Purpose

Transform a paper-based Bible reading plan into a modern web application.
Who needs paper when you can create an awesome web app?

Project Goals

• Build the app using Laravel for flexibility and scalability (Fresh start needed to do this)

Current Progress

• Created a JSON file representing each of the 365 days
• Received permission from Bible Gateway to link directly to their site
• Researched and tested Bible Gateway’s search URL format
• Successfully displayed each day’s reading plan on a web page to test link functionality
