ASA Go: Date of Interest

Describe the task
As a user of ASA Go, I need to select the date to correspond with the data on the maps so I can see what the corresponding date's conditions are.

Acceptance Criteria

• I can select a date to view data for.
• Current day is default.
• Range of dates is today & tomorrow.
• Map data is updated after closing the date selection panel (settings).
• User remains aware of date corresponding to the map UI.

Raj to explore a front-page control for a today-tomorrow button, instead of it being in the Settings page. Scale bar to take up less screen space.

Figma mockup updated to:

• offer alternatives to move the date forward or backward.
• scale bar visibility is reduced while still remaining useful when location is updated.

The date forward/backward buttons work great on the map screen but how does a user choose today/tomorrow when on the Profile or Advisory screen? I think we need an option that is consistent across all screens.
