Good afternoon Predictive Services Team,
As per our Deputy FC Manager Programs/SWO Ops, CaFC is looking to update our Preparedness Planning Areas within the HFI Calculator.
Would you be able to make the following changes to the grouping of weather stations within the HFI Calculator? (Changes listed below and also represented in the map below)
- Fuel Types for stations already used in HFI Calc persist
- French Bar = C7 Fuel Type (PO TBD)
HOLD Blackwater CHANGES FOR NOW
- Addition of Bouchie Lake Wx Station (when online)
- Removal of Quesnel (once Bouchie Lake is online)
Chilcotin:
- Addition of Baldface and Tautri
- Removal of Gaspard
Fraser:
- Addition of Gaspard
- Removal of Williams Lake
- Removal of Meadow Lake, Lone Butte and Young Lake (for new Planning Area below)
[New Planning Area] Green Lake:
- Meadow Lake
- Lone Butte
- Young Lake
- Place Lake
- Churn Creek
- French Bar
Wet Belt:
- No changes
Additional context
- We're hoping that a weather station can be represented within multiple Planning Areas, as we have some key stations on the boundaries of multiple Planning Areas. Please let us know if this is not possible.
