Summary

  • bump the application metadata to version 0.25.9 and extend the release checklist with the Windows manifest normalization step
  • document the manifest normalization and updater diagnostics improvements across the manuals and a dedicated 0.25.9 release notes page
  • capture the 0.25.9 changes in the changelog to support the upcoming GitHub release
