Improving pixelated images

The current scaled down close and info images are looking VERY pixelated in game.

Editing the image to add more antaliasing might solve the problem... But there might be a better solution I'm unaware of.

Uhhm You could render it in just as plain draws ( for the close Buttons, and for the ? you would need to render it through surface.DrawPoly for svg like behoviour. OR you make it a jpg, it has sometimes better quality but it has no alpha channel so no see through parts ) But this will 100% be less efficient as materials. Another way would be just to scale it to infinity and beyond like 4* the current scale or rather remake the icons in that scale

I can try and scale the icon up and make it look better in gimp, but whats your opinion on just changing it to a github logo?

Chances are it will have the same problem.

At the moment it's a near 50x50 res icon being drawn in 20x20. It could be that any icon with thicker lines would deal with it better. I've not messed with icons enough to know the correct solution for making small icons look good.

For me the surface.DrawPoly would be the best looking Option BUT it will take alittle bit of more performance during drawing
