A cleaner BeatFocus

Same brain, new face. v0.2.5 is a top-to-bottom UI/UX refresh — flat, tech, focused. Less visual noise, more signal. Plus a smarter Insights tab that actually tells you something useful.

✨ New Features

  • 14-Day Streak Heatmap — A row of dots right inside the Score card. See your consistency at a glance — every dot is a day, filled means you showed up.
  • Smarter Productivity Score — Re-balanced for how producers actually work: 40% consistency · 35% volume vs. your personal baseline · 25% quality. No more punishing hobby producers for not hitting 20h weeks.
  • Stale Project Warnings — If an active project hasn't been touched for 5+ days, Smart Insights flags it with a warning. No more forgetting that EP you started three weeks ago.
  • Smart Insights, deeper — Now shows your strongest day of the week, peak hour, average session length, and best session length bucket — all in one card.
  • Trend Badge — Weekly Activity card now shows ↑ 18% or ↓ 12% vs. last week directly in the header.

🎨 UI / UX Redesign

  • New design language — Flat surfaces, slight corner radius, Inter as the primary font, brand color used sparingly for active states and primary actions.
  • Home View redesign — Left-aligned greeting with FOCUS · WEEK XX header. Project cards became clean list rows with inline status badges. The floating + button is gone — replaced with an inline + NEW action next to the section header.
  • Bottom Navigation — Replaced the floating pill island with a flat bar that uses a brand-color top border on the active tab.
  • Project Detail — Beat items as list rows with a brand-color left border on the selected one. The Start Session button is now solid brand color (no more gradient).
  • Timer View — Refined typography with tabular-nums so digits don't shift while running. Preset pills with subtle outline style.
  • Side Panels — Filter tabs and session items rebuilt in the new outline style.
  • Modals — Unified across the app: slight radius, left-aligned headlines, uppercase letter-spaced action buttons. Update modal icon now correctly left-aligned.
  • Insights cleanup — Removed Trends and Active Hours cards (info now lives inside Smart Insights or the Weekly Activity header). Less scrolling, more substance.

🔧 Under the hood

  • CSS Design Tokens — Brand, surface, border, text, radius, and font all centralized as CSS variables at :root. Easier to tweak, easier to maintain.
  • Personal Baseline Calculation — Productivity Score now references your own 4-week average instead of a fixed 20h cap.
  • Removed all backdrop-blur effects for a snappier rendering feel.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Project card status badges no longer drift to the wrong side of the row.
  • Update modal layout properly left-aligned.
