Hi! Thanks for your interest in beets, and for sharing this. It's definitely an interesting idea. I'm not entirely sure this is something that fits beets itself at the moment. It would be helpful if you could elaborate a bit on your ideas, the intended use cases, and how you see it integrating with beets. The current web plugin is intentionally fairly minimal and, from a web development perspective, it's showing its age a bit. 😄 That said, if you'd like to experiment with it, feel free to open a PR, we'd be happy to take a look and discuss it. Alternatively, if you're interested in building richer visual features, I'd love to point you towards beets-flask. We're always happy to welcome contributors, especially for UI- and visualization-related work. It uses a more modern stack (React + Vite on the frontend and Quart on the backend), which tends to make this kind of feature much easier to build and iterate on. Either way, I'd be interested to see where you take it! |

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping this is of interest, I've been working on some plugins to generate images from audio. My thoughts were that it could be useful for the web plugin amongst other things, I've done a quick search on similar discussions but does anyone know if this has been suggested or attempted before?
The example above is a generic log spectrogram
Thanks for your attention, I look forward to hearing from you.
