What is the problem or limitation you are having?

Various things. A meta-issue to keep track of things I find with the website as I go. Expect edits.

• Overall, smaller heading sizes. Right now it feels kind of large and jumbled.

- Since a gray banner on top of the page is not possible, can we have a subtle gray box with title and short decsription on top of every page like the Tutorial box?

Thanks for the feedback; however, the sort of feedback we're looking for is "X doesn't work under Y circumstances", or "the links to Z are currently broken.

We're using the tools Mkdocs gives us here - to the best of my knowledge, we're not overwriting any default behaviours. Unless you're proposing a specific set of style changes, or you can highlight how the new layout is objectively worse (i.e., it fails to work under specific circumstances), I'm inclined to leave it as is.

No style change will make everyone happy; we need to be especially wary of:

1. Differentiating between "different" and "bad" design.
2. Making styling suggestions just so someone can say they had input on the design.

Not easily. The block at the top of the docs page is a very override under very specific circumstances; it's not something that can be easily incorporated across the board. A special case made special once isn't too much of an overhead - a special case on every page is another matter.

I'm going to close this ticket on the basis that there's nothing immediately actionable here. If you have additional feedback, one issue per problem is a more helpful approach.
