I have had RTLAMR running for a few years and with RTLAMR-COLLECT for a few months.. In those two months my meter has, only twice, issued perhaps a partial packet or a misaligned byte (or the Go code hiccupped during parsing) such that what should be monotonically increasing consumption such that it looks like this:

I think I can handle this within my query but I thought I'd ask first if there were any clues or hints that others may have discovered that'll allow me to nip it before it gets into the database. It's not a big deal, and my derivative calculation throws away any negative result however the gazillion gigawatt on the other side does a number on auto-scaling.

I noticed that the endpoint type on that datapoint was 5, when all the others were 4. I just filtered for that in my query..... but it would still be nice to know anything anyone already knows about the root cause and/or meaning.
