Transaction between multiple services?

Hello,

I am wondering what could be a clean way to manage transaction operations between services layer?
I know that usually you would want to avoid such case, but I am curious if there is a way to allow this?

The below example could be a "common" case, and we can argue that having this service Delete operation transactional makes sense.

  Delete(ctx, ID) error
}

type History interface {
  Delete (ctx, userID) error
}

func (srv *Service) Delete(ctx, ID) error {

 if err := srv.user.Delete(ctx, ID); err != nil {
   // handle error
 }

 if err := srv.history.Delete(ctx, ID); err != nil {
   // handle error, roll back?
 }
 
 return nil
}
