GPT 5.4 has been added to chessbench.ai/leaderboard, coming in as the new second-best overall model, behind Gemini 3.1 Pro.
Looks like OpenAI models have an edge on coherence -- eight of the top ten most coherent models are theirs, including GPT 5.4 and GPT 5.4 Nano taking the top two spots!
