GPT 5.5 has been added to chessbench.ai, coming in with the highest Elo rating to date, just ahead of Gemini 3.1 Pro.
Much of GPT 5.5's success over other Language Models is due to it's superior coherence level, though it's lower accuracy (12th overall) keeps it from being the top model on the overall leaderboard (quite the opposite of Fable 5).
