Notebook Picker

Notebook Picker aims to provide a similar experience to PCPartPicker when it comes to comparing different laptops.

This was built by dumb college students who have no idea what they're doing.

Prerequisites

Install from here

This project uses React for its frontend.

.NET/ASP.NET

Simplest way to install is via Visual Studio or by modifying your existing Visual Studio installation.

C# was chosen over Node for the backend because none of us enjoy using JavaScript any more than necessary.

Setup

1. Open the solution file notebookpicker.sln with an IDE of your choice and run under Debug mode.
2. Connecting to Oracle Cloud
   1. Unzip the wallet package and place all of its individual files under the /bin/Debug/net6.0 folder
   2. Place the .env file under the root directory.
