The CI builds currently provide good coverage for MSVC, gcc and clang builds, but the builds still emit some warnings (in particular clang will generate a lot of security-related warnings). Tidying up the warnings will help reduce the build noise and make it easier to spot errors as well as help make the code more future-proof.
