repo-intel: Automated competitive intelligence for GitHub repos

Just shipped repo-intel — a GitHub Action that monitors competitor repos and delivers AI-powered intelligence digests as GitHub Issues.

It was built specifically for teams and projects that track competitive landscapes (which is exactly what best-of-lists does at scale). Instead of manually checking competitor repos, repo-intel runs on a cron and tells you:

• Commit velocity — are competitors accelerating or slowing down?
• Release cadence — new versions, hotfixes, breaking changes
• Contributor activity — team growth, new contributors joining
• Issue/PR throughput — development health signals
• Strategic signals — prioritized as HIGH/MED/LOW
