Stable Audio 3 has entered the stable gary4juce release line in v4.0.0.

This release promotes the v4 preview into the normal updater channel. The new sa3 sub-tab inside Jerry includes text-to-audio generation, 4/8/16-bar loop generation, transform, continue, seed recall, key/scale prompting, LoRA strength sliders, and smart dice prompts that can follow the active LoRA sliders.

Local SA3 is now available on Windows through gary4local v0.1.11, including LoRA discovery and both standard and latent_prefix continuation modes. macOS local SA3 support is still planned.

This build also includes the DAW-play recording buffer fix from the v4 release branch, so the plugin is less likely to miss the first host buffer if the UI is briefly touching the recording buffer at transport start.

Known launch notes:

  • SA3 LoRA outputs can be hot. We are iterating on backend loudness handling and the LoRA training/pre-encoding path.
  • Longer SA3 continuations can fade or leave quiet tails near the end; crop/continue workflows are useful while we audit the backend behavior.
