Splitting a sphere shape in half

hi! i have a question or a possible idea:
i dont know if this has been done.

what if you could for example create a sphere and then slice in two by the middle. So you can render one half and the other half after.
so in after effects you could put a viden inbetween.

Hi, this is already possible! In fact it's one of the examples in the wiki here. You'll need to connect the Sphere transform to the Splits transform as shown in the screenshot, and animate one of the split axis to get the result

yeah i did, but i cant make one half dissapear so i can render the other half then hide it and render the first one that i hided.
so in after effects put something between the two and make it looks like its inside them.
