WebSSH 2.0 UI design questions

Hi,
In the new WebSSH 2.0 UI design, the "File Manager", "Hosts" and "Commands" buttons moved to the left and a new "Workspaces" button was added:

The blue line below Workspaces suggests it is the "active" section (or tab) but the other three sections open a new popup pane that overlays the main "Workspaces" window and hence never get a blue line to indicate it is active. Does this mean that in the future, you plan on reintegrating those popup panes into the main window to have a multi-sections design ?

Another question is related to the Hosts and Commands menu:
in the new UI, these menus shows a close button with the word "close". The word "close" rotates and turns red when hovered with the mouse.
Until then there was a cross that was rotating and turning red when hovered. Is that a design choice or a small bug ?

Update: PR #137 fixes the reported close controls so the Material Icons close glyph is rendered again instead of the word close. The broader Hosts and Commands redesign is intentionally left for a separate follow-up.
