hydride produces identically-oriented hydrogens on water

I tested hydride with 1cbs and the resulting hydrogens on water seem to have the same orientation, which seems unexpected. Here is how I ran it:

$ hydride -i 1cbs_updated.cif -o 1cbs_updatedH.cif

I tried to do the same via ChimeraX using addh hbond true and that produced the following:

Would you happen to know why hydride behaves this way and is it possible to adjust it to produce something similar to ChimeraX?
