scales in equalizer window

Is there a way to change the scales in the equalizer window? This is a very cool window, useful to see exactly what's happening with any EQ setting.
Some questions

1. the scale on the right side (-20dB to +20dB) seems to represent the setting of the equilizer. This would be the black line and the colored shapes that represent the settings on each of the equalizer bands. The scale on the left side (-60dB to 20dB) seems to represent the output levels. Is this correct?
2. Is it possible to change the scales? Some of the levels I've set are off the grid and it would be really useful to be able to change the scale, at least of the left (output?) side. If this can't be done, I would request it as a potential new feature.
