MinIO is unmaintained by the upstream; see https://github.com/minio/minio. We will deprecate it; however, while we follow the proper communication process, we will continue building it and address some CVEs.
For that, we can change the source we currently use to Chainguard's fork present at https://github.com/chainguard-forks/minio
In this new fork, there is a major version 2026 we're adding to the catalog in favor of 2025.
