  • Claude Desktop MCPB packaging and release artifacts.
  • Optional Streamable HTTP transport while preserving stdio as the default.
  • Explicit DNS rebinding protections and safe localhost defaults for HTTP mode.

Fixed

  • MCP protocol error semantics for tool error payloads.
  • get_abstract invalid paper IDs now produce MCP isError: true instead of a successful tool result with an error body.

Validation

  • Full local test suite: 81 passed, 1 skipped.
  • GitHub Actions lint and test matrix green on main.
